FAQ’s
Q/ What are the registration options for my child(ren)?
A/ You can register your child(ren) for any combination of weeks and programs. For example, registering the first week for both programs, the second week for only the STEAM Program, and the third week for only the Recreation Program. Participants staying for both Programs will have a seamless transition from morning to afternoon.
Q/ What are the times of the Programs?
A/ The Recreation Program begins at 9am and ends at 12pm each day. The STEAM Program begins at 12pm and ends at 3pm.
Q/ Who are the instructors for the Programs this year?
A/ We will be posting our instructors information here soon. All instructors will be officially employed on a temporary basis by Delaware Township and subject to thorough background checks.
Q/ Is lunch provided for the STEAM Program?
A/ Participants are required to bring their own lunch, snack, and water bottle each day.
Q/ What are the Core Values of the Programs?
A/ Our Core Values can be found here.
Q/ Why are the fees different between the Recreation Program and the STEAM Program?
A/ Delaware Township will again kindly be subsidizing the costs of the Recreation Program as in past years. As the STEAM Program is new for this year, it will be operated on a cost neutral basis. The combined fees for both programs for the week continues to provide an extraordinary value to families versus other local and distant summer engagement options and camps.
Q/ Is there early drop-off or late pickup?
A/ For 2018, we will not be offering early or late services. We are actively pursuing these options for 2019.
